Kiha 391 mortive performance test

This is the outline of the motive power test of kiha 391 in Hakubi line

The inlet temperature of the power turbine is restricted not to shorten the engine life by the protection system. In kiha 391, the temperature is limited to 700 degree Celsius. During test runs, the temperature often exceeded this limit while starting on the steep grade section in the tunnel which resulted in the engine stall.
